Revolutio Revolutio

Connect Revolutio to Microsoft Copilot

Add the Revolutio connector to a Copilot Studio agent. The agent signs in once through your Revolutio account.

How it works

Copilot Studio talks to Revolutio over the Model Context Protocol using a secure OAuth 2.1 connection. You authorise the agent once through a sign-in flow, and the agent receives a token to call Revolutio on your behalf.

This guide is for Copilot Studio. The connector is added to one agent. It does not appear automatically in every Microsoft 365 Copilot chat in the tenant.

Prerequisites

Connect Revolutio to a Copilot Studio agent

  1. Open the agent in Copilot Studio and go to Tools.
  2. Select Add a tool, then New tool, then Model Context Protocol.
  3. Fill in:
    • Server name: Revolutio
    • Server description: Live company records from official registries, and the signed-in user's Revolutio cases.
    • Server URL: https://mcp.revolutio.systems/mcp
    • Authentication: OAuth 2.0, then Dynamic discovery.
  4. Select Create. Copilot registers itself with Revolutio. Do not enter a client ID or client secret.
  5. On Add tool, create a new connection and select Add to agent.
  6. When the Revolutio sign-in opens, sign in with your account email and password, then click Allow.
Use Dynamic discovery. The Manual OAuth option does not send the proof Revolutio requires, and the sign-in is rejected.

Use it

In the agent's test chat, ask:

"What are my most recent Revolutio cases?"

"How many cases have I created in the last 30 days?"

"Open my KIRKBI case and show me the officers and source documents."

"Look up KIRKBI A/S in Denmark."

"Find the company with registration number 12345678 in the UK."

The agent calls the Revolutio tools and summarises the result in the chat. Publish the agent when the test chat returns a real case or registry record.

Available tools

Tool Purpose Consumes credits?
list_cases List your most recent KYC/KYB cases (target name, jurisdiction, search counts, officer/shareholder counts, timestamps). No
case_details Fetch the full record of a single case from your folio: the target entity (identifiers, addresses, officers, shareholders, relationships), per-search source summaries, and the source documents on file (date retrieved, name, source registry). No
search_company Look up a company in its national registry, the same as a /search API call. Returns the official record (legal name, addresses, officers, shareholders, and the rest of the filing). Yes. Same per-jurisdiction cost as the API.

Disconnect

You can revoke the agent's access from either side:

The tools stop working within seconds. Reconnecting is a repeat of the steps above.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in fails as soon as Copilot opens it

The authentication type is probably Manual, or an API key. Remove the tool and add it again with OAuth 2.0 and Dynamic discovery.

The tool is missing, or the connection is blocked

Confirm generative orchestration is on for the agent. If it is, a Power Platform administrator has to allow this custom connector in the environment's data policy. Connector access follows that policy.

The connection succeeds and tool calls still fail

Remove the tool and add it again so Copilot registers a fresh client. Then sign in and click Allow once more.

Tool calls take several minutes

Some national registries are slow. Hong Kong, the Netherlands when registry credentials are required, and Japan can take 3 to 5 minutes. The search may still finish on Revolutio's side. Check the web app folio after a few minutes, or ask the same question again.

"Insufficient Revolutio credits"

The account is out of credits. Sign in to client.revolutio.systems and go to Settings → Subscription Details. list_cases and case_details do not consume credits. This message applies to search_company.
